This was our first visit to La Katangaise and we absolutely lovely it. We already can’t wait to go back. We would highly recommend the grilled goat, goat stew and the jollof rice. The staff and other customers were really friendly and welcoming and the restaurant was lovely and clean and also nicely decorated. Thank you so much!

Very pleasant and friendly host

The food taste great. Warm and cozy restaurant with good ambience and it’s quiet. You can request your choice of music. Host was quick with the food preparation and presentation was excellent.

My wife and I ordered takeaway from La Katangaise Cuisine and were genuinely impressed. The food was fresh, well-packaged, and bursting with authentic african flavour. Every dish was a delight—from the seasoning to the portion sizes, everything was spot-on. It felt like a home-cooked meal made with love. This is easily one of the best takeaway experiences we've had in Leeds. Highly recommended—we’ll definitely be ordering again!

La Katangaise was a wonderful surprise for our family of 3. The food was truly authentic and extremely flavourful. They probably have one of the best grilled food in the area ;). The service was refreshingly friendly and warm and the musical ambience transported us straight to Katanga ;). Thanks a lot to Belange and the team, we have had a lovely time and will be back again ;).
